Latino Arts Project

St. Andrews Center will kick-off the first in a new series of cultural programming celebrating Chattanooga’s diverse Latino communities, Sunday, July 25 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.  The Latino Arts Project identifies and promotes Hispanic traditional folk arts. The only event of its kind in Chattanooga, the Latino Arts Project will present free monthly arts programming for children and adults, including live Latin music, cooking demonstrations, storytelling, and theatre productions.  All events and performances are free and open to all communities.  Children are welcome to attend.

  • Carlos Colon Puerto Rican Trio at 3:30 p.m.
  • Latino Textile Artists demonstration; free aquas frescas and tres
  • leches cake from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
