Chattanooga Has Fun 2.5

Ballet Tennessee hosts the ‘Circle of Life’ Dance Performance on Friday, July 23rd, at the Dorothy Hackett Ward Theater at UTC Fine Arts Center, beginning at 6pm. Guest artist Fredrick Davis will instruct and perform along with dancers of the Ballet Tennessee Summer Intensive and Dance Alive/Dance Elite in this free annual event. Mr. Davis began dance training as a Dance Alive student over a decade ago.

These programs add great value to the community, each year providing at-risk youth with quality dance education, building life skills through dance, and providing professional training for intermediate and advanced students. During the course of the programs, the participants learn about dance and about themselves—their power to tap into their own creative resources. The performance is the community’s opportunity to share in the accomplishments of these amazing young people.

We will honor the following organizations for their continued support of our children: Allied Arts of Greater Chattanooga, the City of Chattanooga, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Community Foundation, First Tennessee Bank, George R. Johnson Family Foundation, Night To Remember, Tennessee Arts Commission, and Tennessee State legislature.
