Chattanooga River Market
Chattanooga Public Market is pleased to announce an exciting new collaboration: The Chattanooga River Market. Starting Saturday, June 5, the River Market will showcase a selection of Chattanooga’s local arts & crafts vendors on Ross’s Landing Plaza (more commonly recognized as the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza). The weekly Saturday public market, open from 10am-5pm, will animate the premiere downtown tourist destination with a variety of sights and sounds, including live music from local and touring artists from around the nation.
Like all Chattanooga Public Markets, the River Market will be producer-only and feature only artists, craftsmen and local entrepreneurs who are directly involved in the creation of their products, creating a “uniquely Chattanoogan” experience for residents & tourists alike.
“Our invitation to exclusively program and occupy Chattanooga’s most prestigious landmark with a Local-is-Better Market & live entertainment is both a great honor and a monumental sign of support for our mission within the community. We firmly believe that our Saturday market will further fuel the growing awareness and public interest in our other events, including our flagship Sunday market” says Chris Thomas, Chairman of Chattanooga Public Market.
The season opener, Saturday, June 5th will feature live music by Paul Vogler and Jennifer Daniels.
