Chattanooga Has Fun 2.5

The Appalachian Celtic Connection, Inc. will host their 9th annual Appalachian/Celtic Festival on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 4 & 5, 2010 in Ringgold, GA.

The event will include Appalachian and Celtic arts and crafts, Scottish Clan tents, along with a genealogist so visitors may discover their own ancestry, and different and distinctive food vendors.

In addition, there will be Celtic and Appalachian music.

Headlining the music will be Highland Reign, a Celtic group that is rapidly gaining in popularity. Their style of music is the form that gave bluegrass music its birth.

The event will be open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Daily admission to the event is only $5 for adults and $3 for children under age 12. Children under age six admitted free.

All events are to be held rain or shine. This is a family oriented event; therefore, no alcoholic beverages are permitted. No pets allowed.
