Chattanooga Has Fun 2.5

110 in the Shade—Leap of Faith Productions presents its exciting summer musical. This classic musical was recently revived on Broadway and is now coming to the Chattanooga stage. Set during a time of drought, the restlessness of the heat is reflected in Lizzie Curry’s discontentment with her search for love. The musical is based on N. Richard Nash’s play The Rainmaker with music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones (the same duo that brought you The Fantasticks). The show plays on July 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, and 24 at 7:30 p.m. and July 18 and 25 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 3210 Social Circle, Chattanooga.
