We moved to this area 2 years ago but just discovered City Cafe. FANTASTIC!!! Amazing selections, better than great taste, and open 24 hours…. Plus one is located not too far from where I live. Who could ask for anything more??

City Cafe= Yum…I never knew the one downtown did delivery until my friends and I stayed up after everything including Taco Bell had closed down. We ordered some shrimp fajitas at 4 am– it got there fairly quickly, was still hot when I got it, and there was enough food there for four people! Plus, I’m not even kidding those were the best fajitas I’d ever had. I thought City Cafe was a breakfast place and avoided all the non-breakfast menu items. I am now convinced that City Cafe is a legit restaurant with amazing food. You should eat there.

When I worked downtown this was always a great place to have lunch. So many choices to choose from. And I have to agree with Teresa, the homefries are to write home about! Try the sausage(links)with biscuit & gravy with a the side of homefries. I could eat this all day long. And in case you didn’t know they have another location off Lee Hwy and Bonny Oaks just off I75. Great people meeting place 24/7, take the kids and the whole family. You will just die over the dessert case. So make sure you save some room. Who knew there were that many cheesecakes to choose from? And that Decadent Chocolate Cake and that old favorite of mine Hummingbird Cake. I could just go right now, my mouth is watering. See ya there!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the City Cafe Diner. I was visiting in Chattanooga and my son raved about this place! He guaranteed that I would be amazed at the menu selections and how delicious I would find my meal to be. He was so right!!! I also think the portions were large, and the prices were very reasonable. This is a ‘must eat at’ place, for all ages!
