The Kids First Coupon book is administered by the Hamilton County Schools Fund for Excellence, a non-profit fundraising organization for public schools in Hamilton County. Now in its 23rd year, the coupon book consists of 200 offers of discounts and free items from local restaurants, retailers and service providers. On sale September 10th - 24th. Sundown in St. Elmo
Sundown in St. Elmo is a community-wide open house event held on the first Saturday of the month from 6-9pm. Come out and enjoy artist receptions, live music, restaurant specials and more from the great local businesses in St. Elmo! For August's edition of Sundown in St. Elmo, Umbra Essence will be hosting an artist’s reception for painter and collage artist Cat Collier and original jewelry artist Sarah Hiles. Enjoy light refreshments on the garden terrace during our reception featuring these two fine Chattanooga artists.
Riverfront Nights 2010
Friends of the Festival announces the return of the 4th Annual Riverfront Nights Summer Music Series, presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennesseee. This free series of musical events on the Chattanooga Riverfront kicks off on Saturday, July 31st, at 7:30pm at Ross’s Landing. Riverfront Nights evening concerts feature a variety of music on the GreenLife Grocery Stage, from country to rock to bluegrass and funk. These concerts are family and dog friendly, are "green-themed," and will feature healthy food and energy choices. Downtown Chattanooga Gallery Hop 2010
The Association for Visual Arts (AVA) is proud to announce the 5th Annual Downtown Chattanooga Gallery Hop. This popular annual event will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 2 to 9 p.m. Several local galleries and artist studios have been added to the roster since last year. The Gallery Hop will feature more than 30 galleries and artist studios, all open to the public for this one-night collaborative celebration of Chattanooga’s acclaimed arts community.
